Create a New Syncfusion .NET MAUI App in Visual Studio Code

The Syncfusion .NET MAUI template studio is a Visual Studio Code extension that uses a wizard to speed up the creation of .NET MAUI applications. The subsequent .NET MAUI project is framed as an intelligible code incorporating Syncfusion .NET MAUI components. Once you've installed the Syncfusion .NET MAUI Visual Studio Code extensions, you'll find the template studio under View > Command Palette... > Syncfusion .NET MAUI Template Studio: Launch.

To get started, provide a name and location for your new project, then click Next. You'll be guided through a wizard that offers a selection of Syncfusion components, each accompanied by a brief description and a preview of how they will appear in your application. Simply check the components you wish to include and configure them to meet your specific needs.

On the following page, you'll have the opportunity to further customize the powerful features of the selected components for your new .NET MAUI project. Once you've completed your configuration, click Create to generate your project.

.NET MAUI Code Snippet

The Syncfusion .NET MAUI code snippet utility for Visual Studio Code provides snippets for adding a Syncfusion .NET MAUI component with various features in the XAML file when developing a .NET MAUI application. These snippets significantly shorten development time.

Note: All Syncfusion .NET MAUI snippets have an “sf” prefix.
