natural_block for VS Code

Syntax highlighting for natural_block files (.nblk), a markup language that leaves ordinary prose alone.

Only what natural_block reads as markup is coloured, so you can see at a glance which symbols take effect and which are plain text:

  • the alignment markers < = > at the start of a line,
  • the ^ of a row, and the ~ that opens and closes a table,
  • decoration clusters such as :!, :* and ::,
  • raw regions between backticks, and the payload between :@ marks,
  • escapes such as \~ and \:.

Prose stays plain. C++, 100%, a > b, 10~20 and 2^10 in the middle of a line get no colour, because natural_block reads them as text.

The colours follow natural_block 0.2.0 and later.
