OrrinInfinityThe OrrinInfinity extension brings OrrinInfinity into the IDE, enabling you to establish a single feasible and streamlined experience. It is packed with all core features that is in the web-based application. The AI chat is removed from the core experience in favor of VSCodes built-in chat interface. OrrinInfinity in the IDE is a little bit more powerful than OrrinInfinity in the webbrowser. First, it utilizes a separate infrastructure for AI chats; this infrastructure supports editing code and handling the internals of the extension, which makes the experience feasible and streamlined. The IDE experience also makes it easier to move between your code and the canvas, allowing you to feasibly translate code into components as well as introducing a new feature that allows you to designate a file and line number, or multiple line numbers, to any component. This allows for documentation to transcend the typical "README.md" - you now have a infinite spacial canvas to organize your documentation and have appropriate and less sophisticated nuance. UpdatesOrrinInfinity in VSCode will attempt to stay on par with the web-based application, though there are features and tools that will be introduced solely for the VSCode experience. With time, this could lead to slight deviations of core experiences, but, nontheless, the overall experience will be maintained and will not degrade. More is coming soonAs OrrinInfinity Beta 2 rages on, more and more AI capabilities and features altogether will be added making Infinity stronger, better, more coherent and ever-so-slightly more feasible to integrate into key areas of your everyday workflow. This integration being one of them :) |
