Obsidian++

A soft, obsidian black theme for VS Code based on Dark++. Features deep blacks (#0d0d0d, #0f0f0f) with carefully balanced syntax highlighting that's easy on the eyes - not too light, not too dark, but just right in that sweet spot.

Color Palette

• Deep backgrounds: Obsidian black tones (#0d0d0d to #0f0f0f)
• Soft syntax: Muted blues, greens, and earth tones
• Subtle accents: Soft blue (#4a9eff) for focus elements
• Easy on the eyes: Reduced contrast with #b8b8b8 foreground

Installation

Method 1: Copy to Extensions Folder

1. Copy this entire folder to your VS Code extensions directory:

   • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\.vscode\extensions\
   • macOS/Linux: ~/.vscode/extensions/

2. Restart VS Code

3. Press Ctrl+K Ctrl+T (or Cmd+K Cmd+T on Mac) to open the theme picker

4. Select "Obsidian++"

Method 2: Using VSCE (if you want to package it)

npm install -g @vscode/vsce
cd based-color-theme
vsce package
code --install-extension obsidian-plusplus-1.0.0.vsix
