JRemote for Visual Studio Code

The JCLplus⁺ JRemote Plug-in can be used to syntax check JCL or Control statements like IDCAMS, ADRDSSU, IEBCOPY or FTP.

When the JCLplus⁺ Remote Plug-in displays the scan results within the VSCode GUI, the error messages, warnings, and informational messages are all color-coded for easy identification and navigation.

Additionally all issues are reported in the problems tab.

Quick Start

Install the JCLplus⁺ Jremote plugin for Visual Studio Code from the .vsix file provided by SEA as follows:

  1. Open the Extensions menu in VS Code and click on the [...] button, in the top-right corner of the pane.

  2. Select the "Install from VSIX" option and choose the .vsix file provided.

  3. Restart Visual Studio Code.
