Orbit for Visual Studio Code

The Orbit extension adds language support for the Orbit programming language, originally developed for the NightRealm server. It includes the following features:

  • Syntax highlighting, snippets and folding
  • Running & debugging scripts

Prerequisites

  • Java 16 or newer. (Orbit is built on Java)

Development

To run orbit code you need to use the (Orbit: Run) command.

For debugging you need to use the (Orbit: Debug) command.

Currently, the extension does not support running and debugging inside the editor.

Documentation is available at Orbit Docs, but is not up to date as of writing this.
