The paid autorouter of SoftForge Electronic Workbench: differential pairs, length matching per group and net class, blind / buried and micro vias, area and incremental routing, several strategies on several cores. 14-day trial.
Installation
Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter.
The paid autorouter of SoftForge Electronic Workbench.
It adds a provider to the Workbench's Autoroute dialog, the Routers page and ewb pcb autoroute --provider softforge.routerPro:
the Workbench's routing engine plus
Differential pairs routed coupled, at the net class gap or a wider Pair gap for the run, skew matched.
Length matching: the project's matched length groups, Length groups of the run, and a Length per net class
target; the short members get meanders.
Blind / buried and micro vias from the board's stack-up (or its via spans), each switch auto (Board Setup), on
or off.
Area routing (an outline) and incremental routing (only the nets with open connections, existing routing kept).
Several cores: different routing strategies run in parallel threads and the best result wins (Threads, the
softforge.routerPro.threads setting).
Cancel, progress, a live preview, and hints in the log when something is left open.
The result is applied as one undo step and checked with the Workbench's DRC, like every router.
License
A 14-day trial, then a license per seat.
SoftForge Router Pro: Start 14-Day Trial — once per install (the Workbench's Trial link starts it too).
SoftForge Router Pro: Enter License Key… — the key from the client portal, verified offline and checked with the
licensing service at most once a day; 14 days of offline grace after the last confirmation.
The Workbench shows the state as a chip next to the provider: Buy (Run disabled), Trial n days, Licensed, or
Error (the check failed; routing still runs, except when every seat of the license is in use).
Requires SoftForge Electronic Workbench 2.1.0 or newer.
