Only for projects built on the private @simplysm libraries (Simplysm and its licensed clients) — shows the project's sd-cli check results in the editor as you type
Installation
Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter.
Only for projects built on the @simplysm libraries. These libraries are private: only Simplysm and clients granted access by Simplysm can install them. In any other project this extension does nothing.
See the results of your project's checker (sd-cli check) in the editor while you type.
The extension contains no rules and no checker. It starts the checker installed in your project (@simplysm/sd-cli) and talks to it over the Language Server Protocol, so the editor always shows the same results as sd-cli check and the deploy gate.
How it works
Finding the checker: from each workspace folder, the extension looks upward for node_modules/@simplysm/sd-cli. Folders without it are left alone — no server, no messages.
One checker per project: the project root is the folder whose package.json has workspaces. Two folders of the same project share one checker; two projects get two.
As you type: every file you edit in the project is sent to the checker, unsaved. The checker decides which files it checks.
On save: structure rules run for the package. Their results appear on the file the rule points to — or, when there is no such file, on the first line of the package's package.json. Files you haven't opened show up in the Problems panel too.
After updating libraries: when bun.lock changes, the checker restarts so new rules apply. Run Simplysm Lint: Restart Server after editing sd-lint.config.ts or rule sources directly.
