How To Use

  1. Download and Install Simplicity Studio 6 o get started, download and install Simplicity Studio 6 from https://www.silabs.com/simplicity-studio.

    Refer to the Simplicity Studio 6 Installation guide for more details.

  2. Install Simplicity Studio VS Code Extension Install Visual Studio Code, then add the Simplicity Studio VS Code Extension.

    Refer to the Simplicity Studio VS Code Installation and Configuration guide for more details.

  3. Create a New Project Use Simplicity Studio 6 to create a new project via the Project Wizard. After creating the project, open it in VS Code.

    Refer to the Simplicity Studio Work with Projects guide for more details.

  4. Build, Flash, and Debug a project Once your project is open in VS Code, the Simplicity Studio Extension will detect it automatically. Use the toolbar to build, flash, and debug your application.

  5. Configure Your Project Use Project Configurator GUI Tools in Simplicity Studio to configure wireless protocols, board drivers, and hardware settings. After making changes, continue development in VS Code.
