Edit your Shopify store online directly from Visual Studio Code.

Browse theme files, manage Liquid templates and connect to Shopify Admin — all without leaving your editor.

Features

• /EditLiquid — Ctrl+Shift+P → /EditLiquid — opens a panel with a Shopify Admin auth link and your store's theme file tree.
• Status bar item — the Shopify Liquid button is always visible in the bottom-right corner; click it to open the editor.
• Context menu — the /EditLiquid command is available via right-click in the editor.
• Auto-start — the extension activates automatically on every VS Code startup.

Usage

1. Open the command palette: Ctrl+Shift+P
2. Type /EditLiquid
3. In the panel that opens, click "Open in browser" to connect to Shopify Admin

Running locally

cd artifacts/vscode-demo
npm install
npm run compile

Then press F5 in VS Code to launch an Extension Development Host.
