Install packages in one click directly inside VS Code.
Installer is a lightweight VS Code extension designed to streamline package management. Forget typing repetitive terminal commands or searching for the exact installation syntax across different package managers—install your favorite tools and libraries with a single click.
Why It Exists
Setting up a project often involves repetitive manual steps:
Switching between browser docs and terminal to copy-paste package names.
Remembering specific installation flags across different package managers (npm i, yarn add, pnpm add, bun add).
Dealing with typos in package names.
Installer eliminates the friction by providing an intuitive sidebar panel inside VS Code where you select your preferred package manager and install commonly used libraries instantly into your active project terminal.
