Sip Squad: Water Reminder for VS Code

A squad of five heroes takes turns dropping in beside your code, and whoever shows up stays until you drink your water.

• Status bar counter: 💧 3/8 · 24m shows today's glasses and the time to the next reminder. Click it to log a glass, preview a reminder or pause.
• Never mid-line: a due reminder waits until you stop typing for a few seconds.
• Five heroes, five powers: Aqua Spider swings in on a web, Sky Guardian flies, Night Knight rappels, Little Rascal walks in and dances out, Desi Shakti Hero spins in on golden chakras.
• I drank and the hero drinks with you. Snooze and they're not happy about it.
• One window at a time: with several VS Code windows open, only the one you're using shows the reminder.

Settings

Search for "Sip Squad" in Settings: reminder interval, snooze length, daily goal, your name, character, and whether to wait while you type.

Privacy

No account, no analytics, no network requests. Your settings and glass count stay in VS Code on your computer.

Works in VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf and VSCodium. The same squad is in the Chrome extension Aqua Spider: Water Reminder, which puts the hero on top of any web page.
