Imperator

Imperator is a dark theme for VS Code and Positron with an amber, retrofuturist atmosphere. It was loosely inspired by a personal reading of House Corrino from Dune, restrained, and slightly ceremonial, with the feel of an old command interface glowing in the dark.

The palette stays close to deep black-brown backgrounds, worn gold foregrounds, and sharp signal accents. Comments are intentionally quiet, the editor UI remains subdued, and key syntax elements carry the brighter imperial tones.

Imperator is meant to feel warm, focused, and slightly austere. It is not a neon sci-fi theme; it leans more toward an imperial terminal, something ceremonial and functional at the same time.
