BRICO for VS Code

Reuse what you already built. BRICO remembers the features in your other projects. It ports one into this project in a checked worktree, and keeps it in sync with where it came from.

  • Feature memory in the sidebar: every feature you indexed, by project. Click one for a file-by-file plan of reusing it here.
  • Check before it lands. BRICO applies the plan to a temporary worktree, installs what it needs and runs this project's typecheck, tests and build. You get a receipt: what was reused, what passed, every error traced to its cause, and what was not checked. Review the changes in the multi-file diff, then apply, or discard.
  • "You built this before." Create src/features/billing and, if you built billing elsewhere, BRICO offers the plan.
  • Lineage in the editor. Reused files carry a B badge and a CodeLens ("Reused from acme-crm/team-invites · edited here"). The status bar shows when an origin has changed, and BRICO: Sync merges those changes in, three ways.
  • Your agents get it too. The extension registers the BRICO MCP server with VS Code's chat, so agent mode searches your memory before writing a feature.
