FCM

FCM adds function separators and complexity markers to the editor gutter.

Features

Use Toggle Function Separators from the Command Palette to show or hide cyan gutter bars beside function, method, constructor, and operator definitions.

Use Toggle Function Complexity Markers to color the gutter across each function body by its estimated cyclomatic complexity: green for low (1–3), yellow for medium (4–7), and red for high (8+). Hover over a marker to see its estimated score.

Both features require document-symbol support from the language extension. Complexity is estimated from common branching keywords and boolean/ternary operators, so results vary by language.

Packaging

Run npm install, then npm test to verify the extension. Run npm run package to create a .vsix file that can be installed from VS Code with Extensions: Install from VSIX....
