CodeIgniter File Navigator

An extension for VS Code and Antigravity IDE that allows instant navigation and opening of CodeIgniter files via clicking or keyboard shortcuts.

Supported Features

1. Views:

   • $this->load->view('folder/view_name')
   • $this->template->load('tpl', 'folder/view_name')
   • view('folder/view_name') (CodeIgniter 4)
   • Opens files in application/views/..., app/Views/..., and HMVC Modules.

2. Models:

   • $this->load->model('User_model')
   • $this->load->model('sub/user_model')
   • model('UserModel')
   • Automatic handling of capitalization.

3. Libraries:

   • $this->load->library('session')
   • $this->load->library('My_custom_lib')
   • Supports both application libraries (application/libraries) and system libraries (system/libraries).

4. Helpers:

   • $this->load->helper('url')
   • helper('url')
   • Automatically opens url_helper.php.

5. Configs:

   • $this->load->config('email')
   • config('Email')

How to Use in the Editor

• Direct Click (Ctrl + Click / Cmd + Click): Paths will appear as hyperlinks; hold Ctrl and click to open the file immediately.
• Go to Definition (F12): Place the cursor on the View or Model name and press F12 or select Go to Definition.
• Quick Shortcut (Alt + O): Place the cursor on the line and press Alt + O to immediately open the associated file.

Build & Installation

1. Install Dependencies and Build:

npm install
npm run compile

2. Generate Installable .vsix Package:

npx @vscode/vsce package

3. Install in VS Code or Antigravity IDE:

1. Open the editor.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + P.
3. Type: Extensions: Install from VSIX...
4. Select the generated .vsix file (e.g., codeigniter-file-navigator-1.0.0.vsix).
