More Info

embOS Plug-in

When an application is debugged and the debug session is halted, the embOS Plug-in displays information about embOS resources used by the application. In addition to some embOS system information, the following embOS resources can be shown:

  • Tasks
  • Software Timers
  • Mailboxes
  • Queues
  • Mutexes
  • Semaphores
  • Readers-writers Locks
  • Memory Pools
  • Event Objects
  • Watchdogs

By default, the information is shown in an own container in the activity bar, but the view can be drag'n dropped to other locations. The view is only shown when there is an active debug session.

Requirements

The extension can be used with cortex-debug, cppdbg, cspy, and lldb debug sessions. Also, it requires the debug-tracker-vscode extension as a dependency.
