Rocket® Analyzer extension

The Rocket Analyzer extension provides support for interacting with Rocket® Enterprise Analyzer and Rocket® COBOL Analyzer products.

Features include:

• Viewing files within Rocket® Enterprise Analyzer or Rocket® COBOL Analyzer workspaces.
• Viewing Program Control Flow graphs for files within Rocket® Enterprise Analyzer or Rocket® COBOL Analyzer workspaces.

Optional AI features when used with a local or remote generative AI model:

• Generating a program summary for COBOL, copybooks, and JCL files registered within an Enterprise Analyzer or COBOL Analyzer workspace.
• When used with Rocket® Enterprise Developer or Rocket® Visual COBOL, you can generate code comments and explanations of code blocks or snippets.

Verifying the Digital Signature

Scope of the Support in this Version

This version of the Rocket Analyzer extension has the following limitations:

• Functionality provided by this extension relies on maintaining a connection to a licensed version of Enterprise Analyzer, or COBOL Analyzer.
• AI based functionality requires an AI enabled Enterprise Analyzer, or COBOL Analyzer product.
• The Rocket Analysis Assistant is only supported if you have a licensed version of a Rocket COBOL product on the same machine. See Getting Started in the extension Help for more information.
