Run Bat As Task
Run .bat and .cmd files in the integrated terminal with one click.
Features
- Run button in the editor title bar when a .bat or .cmd file is open
- Command Palette — press
Ctrl+Shift+P and type Run Bat: Run as Task
Usage
- Open a
.bat or .cmd file
- Click the Run button in the editor title bar, or press
Ctrl+Shift+P → "Run Bat: Run as Task"
- The file runs in a new terminal with the correct working directory
Requirements
- Windows (for .bat/.cmd execution). On other platforms, runs via shell.
