Rashid Quick Notes

A notes panel for every project, right in the Explorer. Keep the commands you always forget, the client's requests, links, ideas and to-dos next to the code they belong to.

Features

  • One note per project. Open another project and you see its notes.
  • Saves as you type. No save button.
  • Add a Note… from anywhere with Ctrl+Alt+N (Cmd+Alt+N). Type, press Enter, done. The date is added automatically.
  • Add Selection to Notes. Right-click selected code to save it with its file name and line numbers, like src/api/auth.ts:42–58.
  • Quick lists. Tap ☐ Task for a checklist item. Press Enter to continue a list, and Enter on an empty item to end it.
  • Plain Markdown. Click Open as file to edit or preview your notes as a normal .md file. Changes flow back into the panel.
  • Right-to-left aware. Notes written in Kurdish or Arabic display right-to-left automatically.
