✅ AI-Powered Summaries – Uses Google's Gemini API to summarize changes.
✅ GitHub Integration – Automatically creates a code-tracker
repository if it doesn’t exist.
✅ Secure Communication – Data is sent over HTTPS using an AWS-hosted Node.js server.
✅ Minimal Setup – Works seamlessly without manual intervention.

code-tracker
.
- The filename format for logs follows: Month Day Year.md (e.g., Feb 14th 2025.md)

).
- Search for
"codeTracker.githubToken"
and enter your token.
2. API Key for Summarization

"codeTracker.geminiApiKey"
.
Backend Server (AWS Deployment)
Your extension communicates with a Node.js server hosted on AWS, secured via HTTPS using AWS ACM & Elastic Load Balancer.
Deploying Your Own Server (Optional)
If you want to self-host:
- Clone the backend repository.
- Deploy it on AWS EC2.
- Secure it using AWS ACM & ELB (HTTPS).
