Marker Pen is a lightweight, high-efficiency VS Code extension that allows you to highlight text and sentences in your code with any color you imagine. Perfect for code reviews, logic tracing, teaching, or simply making complex data easier to read.

Unlike standard syntax highlighting, Marker Pen is ad-hoc and persistent—your highlights stay exactly where you put them, even after you restart VS Code.

💾 Persistence: Your highlights are saved to your workspace. Close your file, restart your IDE—your markers will still be there.

🚀 How to Use :

1. Open the Palette: Click the Marker Pen icon in the left-hand ctivity Bar.

2. Highlight: Select any text or sentence in your code editor.

3. Pick a Color: Click anywhere on the Color Spectrum in the sidebar. The color applies instantly!

4. Remove:

• To remove a specific highlight: Select the text and click REMOVE SELECTED.
• To clear the whole file: Click CLEAR ALL IN FILE.

🛠 Installation

1. Open VS Code.
2. Go to the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X).
3. Search for Marker Pen.
4. Click Install.

This extension contributes the following settings:

• marker-pen.highlights: (Internal) Stores your highlight ranges and colors per workspace.
