Creating Your First Roadmap
1. Organize Your Backlog
Create a clear hierarchy in your backlog (if you haven't already):
- Epics contain Features
- Features contain User Stories
- Stories contain Tasks

2. Add Dates
Add "Start Date" and "Target Date" to your work items. You can:
- Fill them in your backlog
- Or add them later directly in the Roadmap view

3. Create a Query
Create a query to define what appears in your roadmap:
- Go to Boards → Queries
- Click + New query
- Add a filter (we recommend using tags, like "Project-Alpha")
- Save your query

4. Tag Your Work Items
Add your tag (e.g., "Project-Alpha") to all items you want in this roadmap:
- Select multiple items in your backlog
- Click Add tag
- Enter your tag and save

5. View Your Roadmap
- Go to Boards → Roadmap
- Select your query from the dropdown
- See your timeline come to life!
