Cantata VS Code Core

The Cantata VS Code Core extension provides shared services used by other Cantata VS Code extensions.

This extension is not intended to be used as a standalone user interface. It is installed and activated as a dependency of other Cantata extensions, such as Cantata Results, Cantata Coverage, and Cantata Test Script Generation.

Features

• Detects the local Cantata installation.
• Caches the Cantata installation check state so dependent extensions do not repeat the same check.
• Provides the Cantata: Check Installation Information command.
• Exposes a small Core API for dependent Cantata extensions.

Requirements

Cantata must be available on the system path.

Dependent Cantata extensions declare this extension as an extension dependency. When installed from an extension pack or marketplace, VS Code installs required dependencies automatically.
