PolicyValidatorGenerator for Visual Studio Code

An offline extension for validating .xml, .xsl, .xslt, and .xhtml files.

Commands

• Policy Validator: Validate File & Auto Fix
• Policy Validator: Validate Folder & Auto Fix
• Policy Validator: Open Local Chat

Right-click a supported file or folder in Explorer to validate and auto-fix it. The extension applies deterministic safe repairs, creates a backup before every change, verifies the result, and rolls back a failed verification. Folder processing continues when a file cannot be fixed.

The Policy Validator sidebar provides an action selector and opens in VS Code's right-side Secondary Side Bar, so Explorer remains visible on the left.

Remaining issues appear in VS Code's Problems panel. The completion message shows validated, fixed, clean, and not-fixed counts, with an Open Log action.
