PasteCode.io - Share Code Online

PasteCode.io's official Visual Studio Code extension to share code snippets without leaving the editor.

Features

• Share code snippets directly from Visual Studio Code.
• Protect shared code snippets with password.
• Set snippet visibility for granular access controls.
• No registration required, but if you prefer, you can login with your API key to sync shared snippets with your account.

Install

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+X/Ctrl+Shift+X/⇧⌘X to open the Extensions tab
2. Type pastecode-vscode to find the extension
3. Click the Install button, then the Enable button

Usage

After pastecode-vscode installed, press Ctrl+Shift+P to open comand dialog.

• Select PasteCode.io: Share to share current editor contents.
• Select PasteCode.io: Delete to delete shared snippet.
• Select PasteCode.io: Login to login with your PasteCode.io account.
• Select PasteCode.io: Register to register. (Will open a browser window)
• Select PasteCode.io: Logout to logout your user from extension.

You can create an account from register page. After registration and login to your new account, go to profile page to create an API key with checking Allow Login.
