Installation

You can install Papa Vault directly from the VS Code Marketplace:

1. Open VS Code

Getting Started

1. After installation, you'll see the Papa Vault icon in the activity bar
2. Click "Login to Papa Vault" to authenticate
3. Once logged in, you can start managing your secrets

Usage

Authentication

• Use the Login to Papa Vault command to authenticate
• Logout anytime using the logout button in the view
• Your authentication token is securely stored in VS Code settings

Managing Environments

• Switch between different environments using the environment selector
• Easily refresh your data using the refresh button
• View and manage secrets specific to each environment

Available Commands

• Login to Papa Vault: Authenticate with the service
• Logout from Papa Vault: End your session
• Refresh Data: Update your secret data
• Select Environment: Switch between different environments

Extension Settings

• papavault.token: Authentication token for Papa Vault (managed automatically)

Requirements

• VS Code version 1.60.0 or higher
• Active internet connection
• Papa Vault account (sign up at app.papavault.com)
