About the Theme

CoffeeTrove Warm captures the atmosphere of a late-night coding session in your favorite coffee shop. The palette is rooted in rich espresso browns with vibrant hot pink accents pulled from the CoffeeTrove brand. The result is a theme that feels cozy and inviting without being muddy or hard to read.

The editor background uses a deep roasted brown (#1a1210) that reads warmer than standard dark themes. The signature CoffeeTrove pink (#FF0050) appears as the cursor, active tab indicator, keyword color, and badge highlight, providing energetic focal points against the muted backdrop. Functions and JSON keys use a roasted gold (#c9a24d) reminiscent of crema, while strings are rendered in a sage green (#78b0a0) that keeps them clearly distinct from surrounding code. Comments fade to a desaturated umber, staying legible for documentation-heavy codebases without competing for attention.

Open the Extensions sidebar in VS Code (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X)
Search for CoffeeTrove Warm
Click Install
Open Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P) and select Preferences: Color Theme
Choose CoffeeTrove Warm
