Usage
- Open a Markdown file
- Select text to comment on, or just place your cursor (the extension will auto-select the word at cursor, or the entire line if cursor is at line start/end)
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+M (or Cmd+Shift+M on Mac) or click the + button in the sidebar
- Type your comment in the sidebar form and click "Add Comment"
- Use the sidebar to view and navigate between comments
- Click the reply icon on any comment to add a reply
- Click the edit icon to modify a comment or reply inline (only your own comments/replies)
- Click the checkmark icon to resolve a comment (resolved comments remain visible but dimmed)
- Use the eye icon toggle in the sidebar header to show/hide resolved comments
- If anchor text is deleted, use the pin icon on orphaned comments to re-anchor to new selected text

Comments are stored directly in the Markdown file as a JSON block in an HTML comment at the end of the file:
