The OpenText™ Thrust Studio Foundation extension is part of the OpenText™ Thrust Studio VS Code extension pack. It provides the foundational capabilities to support developing applications that consume the OpenText™ Cloud Platform APIs.

The OpenText Thrust Studio View offers the following three sections:
Profiles: allows connecting to the different Organizations (and Tenants) from your subscription(s)
Models: allows configuring your OpenText Cloud application project, and creating or navigating its application configuration artifacts (aka models)
Help and Feedback: provides access to the OpenText™ Thrust Studio user guide and the OpenText Cloud Developer tutorial, and allows reporting issues and suggesting features
... the standard VS Code Explorer View has been extended with OpenText™ Thrust Studio related contextual menu entries:
OpenText: New Model: allows creating a new model (application configuration artifact)
OpenText: Set Up Project: allows initializing and configuring a new OpenText Cloud application project
OpenText: Project Properties: allows configuring your OpenText Cloud application project
OpenText: Deploy to Default Tenant: allows deploying your project to your Developer Organization using the tenant configured as the default
... the VS Code Palette offers an additional set of OpenText commands:
Set Up Default Auth Profile: configure the default authentication profile to allow connecting to your Developer Organization subscription
Set Up Project: initialize and configure a new OpenText Cloud application project
New Model: create a new model (application configuration artifact)
Project Properties: view or update the OpenText Cloud application project configuration
Deploy to Default Tenant: deploy the OpenText Cloud application project and its models to the configured Developer Organization subscription using the tenant configured as the default
