This extension uses the uuid package to generate uuids.

Features

The "Insert @{UUID}" Command

Default keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+a Ctrl+Shift+a

This will insert an @{UUID} string at your current cursor position, for eample, @{CA681252-44CC-4322-8011-A42433E5F6CB}, the UUID is version 4.

I personally use them as anchor points in the text files.

The "Insert UUIDV1" Command

Default keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+a 1

This will insert an uuid string at your current cursor position, for eample, 99be0b90-5387-11e9-b559-0b9a219b769e, the UUID is version 1.

The "Insert UUIDV4" Command
