Team Tracker for Visual Studio Code

Information about your team developers activity.

Installation

1. In VS Code press Ctrl + Shift + X or ⇧ + ⌘ + X to open Extensions Panel.

2. In the opened panel type team tracker and press enter.

   

3. Click on the Team Tracker to open Team Tracker Extension page in Visual Studio Code.

4. Click Install next to the name of the extension.

   

5. Get your Team Tracker server and API key after creating your company or login if you already have one.

6. Enter your Team Tracker server and API key in the popup panels in VS Code.

7. If you are not prompted, you can use status bar to change or check your API data.

   

8. Use Visual Studio Code and your coding activity will be displayed on your Team Tracker dashboard.

Visit https://teamtrackerhq.com/ to see your and your team coding activity.

Configuring

To browse VS Code specific settings open command palette by pressing F1 or ⌘ + Shift + P, then type team tracker.

For example, to hide your Team Tracker status bar you need to choose Team Tracker: Status bar control command in the command palette and click Yes when prompted.

Troubleshooting

First you need to enable debug mode:

1. Press F1 or ⌘ + Shift + P to open command palette
2. Type Team Tracker: Debug mode control, and press Enter.
3. Click Yes to enable debug mode.

After enabling debug mode your Team Tracker logs file will be open automatically.

You can also open the log file manually by choosing the Team Tracker: Open logs command in the command palette.
