This is the README for the "KeyCount" VS Code extension.

This is a simple, lightweight extension that keeps track and count of the number of times a keyboard button or letter was pressed while you work.

It also has a simple dashboard website that converts all your keypress data into insightful analytics

Activate the extension and email set up

On installation of the extension, open the Command Palette by pressing (Ctrl + Shift + P) and typing in "KeyCount". Amongst the options, select "KeyCount: Set Up Email" which will prompt you for your email. Input your email, and you are good to go.

Work and type as you wish. You can view your typing analytics on your user dashboard by going to the Dashboard and logging in with your email

Features

You are able to see all the actions you can take specific to this extension by opening up your Command Palette by pressing (Ctrl + Shift + P) and typing in 'KeyCount'.

All commands and features relating to KeyCount will be displayed.
