Blitz Search

This extension facilitates integration with Blitz Search - the standalone tool. This tool exists to improve the Find-in-Files experience accross many IDE's and text Editors.

Blitz Search In motion

The following bindable commands are available to bind:

  • Blitz Search This
    • With a Selection - Places the selection in the Blitz Search Search Box
    • With the Caret on a word - Places word that the caret is on as a Whole-Word Search in the Blitz Search Query Box.
  • Blitz Replace This
    • Works the same as Search This, only it will open up Replacement components.
  • Blitz Configure Theme
    • Running this will have BLitz Search match the current Syntax Highlighting theme of VS Code.

This extension also provide Blitz Search with Workspace scopes so that you can easily switch between Workspace, and your externally crafted Search Scopes.

Multiple instances of Visual Studio Code are supported.
