Resonance Studio

A developer environment for the Resonance decentralized inference network, right inside VS Code. Explore the network, manage the nodes and clusters you own, run a full local testnet, and build with an AI coding agent — all from the sidebar, in a UI that follows your theme.

Open it from the Resonance icon in the Activity Bar.

Features

Overview

A live snapshot of the network (nodes online, models, workloads), recent activity, and your connection (endpoint, local node, API key).

My Nodes

Detects a Resonance node on this machine (or connect one you own — e.g. a Spark elsewhere — by its id and key). See the physical nodes, the logical nodes and clusters you own, create and delete them, and attach a physical node to a cluster so the cluster inherits its key to mint a scoped inference token for each logical node.

Network

The physical nodes the network is running and every model it serves, each with a short description.

Testnet

A full-local, deterministic testnet as an Explorer tree: pick an environment, start/stop/ reset it, and expand Nodes, Clusters, Protocols, Gossip and Sandbox. Develop a protocol (scaffold → build → deploy to the testnet → watch it propagate → publish to the real network), run reproducible scenarios, and open a roomy analysis view in the editor (topology, convergence, steppable gossip timeline). Virtual nodes only, fully separate from the real network.

Vibecode

An AI coding agent powered by a coder model running on Resonance. It reads, searches, writes, edits, moves and deletes files, runs commands, and calls the network — with your approval for anything that changes files or the network (it shows a scrollable preview of each change and each command's output). It knows the Resonance SDK and operations, keeps a persistent, searchable chat history, picks up the file you have open as context, and shows which node served each request. Available when a node's key is present on this machine.

SDK

Every SDK method, with when to use it, the signature, and a runnable example you can insert or copy. Shows an install button until the SDK is present in your workspace.

Getting started

  1. Install the Resonance SDK in your project: npm install resonance-sdk.
  2. Set your endpoint and API key in the Studio (Overview → Settings), or install a node so the extension picks up its key automatically.
  3. Build — from the SDK page, or by asking Vibecode.

Settings

  • resonance.baseUrl — control-plane URL (default https://thinkernet.it).
  • resonance.apiKey — API key / cluster-scoped token (auto-filled from a local node).
  • resonance.nodeId — a node you own that isn't on this machine.
  • resonance.nodeHome — override the node home directory.
  • resonance.vibecodeAutoApprove — let Vibecode act without asking each time (off by default).
