How to Use

  1. Open Visual Studio Code.
  2. Open ShrinkByte from the Activity Bar.
  3. Add images using the file picker or drag and drop.
  4. Rename the output files if needed.
  5. Select the desired output format.
  6. Set the resize or compression settings.
  7. Choose the output folder.
  8. Start processing.
  9. Check the compression results.

Output

ShrinkByte displays the original file size, compressed file size, and savings after processing.

Processed images are saved to the selected output folder.

Privacy

ShrinkByte processes images locally using Sharp. Images are not uploaded to an external server.

Requirements

Visual Studio Code 1.137.0 or later.

Opens the ShrinkByte image compression interface.
