Installation

  1. Install the extension from VS Code Marketplace
  2. Sign up at Miss-Minutes Dashboard (or your hosted instance)
  3. Get your API token from the dashboard
  4. Run command Miss-Minutes: Set API Key in VS Code
  5. Paste your API token

Usage

Once configured, Miss-Minutes automatically tracks your coding activity:

  • Coding Time: Tracks when you're actively coding
  • File Changes: Records which files you're working on
  • Language Detection: Identifies programming languages
  • Git Commits: Links activities to git commits
  • Smart Idle Detection: Doesn't count idle time

Commands

  • Miss-Minutes: Set API Key - Configure your API token

Requirements

  • VS Code 1.80.0 or higher
  • Miss-Minutes account (sign up at your dashboard)

Privacy

Your coding data is stored locally and synced only to your Miss-Minutes account. We never share your data with third parties.
