Preview Minecraft Bedrock Edition world-generation features in 3D, right inside VS Code. Open a feature or feature_rules JSON file from a behavior pack to see the blocks and structures it generates. Resource pack textures are applied automatically, with no extra setup required.
Features
3D preview: Drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, and double-click to reset the view. Inspect interiors with X/Y/Z cross-section and half-cut views, and show or hide individual block layers.
Reproducible seeds: Reuse a seed to reproduce the same result, or try a new seed with one click to explore different outcomes. Ore features are automatically placed underground for previewing.
Reference chain explorer: Expand the chain from rules to child features to blocks. Missing references and circular references are highlighted in the Feature 引用链 (Feature Reference Chain) view; click a node to preview any level of the chain.
Automatic textures: Load block textures from workspace resource packs, including animated textures such as fire and lava. Biome tinting is supported, with 10 presets for foliage colors.
Custom block shapes: Render fences, slabs, stairs, and other non-full-cube blocks using their models.
Export: Save the generated block list as JSON through the system save dialog.
Automatic refresh: Update the preview as you edit or save the JSON file.

Usage notes
JSON files under features/ and feature_rules/ directories in the workspace are automatically included in reference resolution. The NetEase mod equivalents, netease_features/ and netease_feature_rules/, are also supported.
To preview a rule, open the rule JSON directly. Some features depend on variables supplied by their rule; previewing the feature on its own may display 缺上下文 (Missing Context).
Features that require caves, ceilings, or other specific environments, such as cave scatter features and hanging vines, may fail to place in the flat-ground preview. The status bar shows the reason for the failure.
Workspace resource packs are loaded automatically. You can also import a folder, .mcpack, or .zip from the 材质与资源包 (Materials & Resource Packs) section of the preview panel. Manually imported resources take priority over automatically loaded ones.

Troubleshooting
Empty preview or unresolved references: A referenced child feature may be missing from the relevant workspace directories. Place it in the features/ directory, then click 未解析 (Unresolved) in the status bar or run Feature Viewer: 刷新引用链 (Refresh Reference Chain).
Missing context (t.* variables): These feature parameters are supplied by a rule. Open the preview from the rule JSON instead.
Textures are not applied: Check that the resource pack contains textures/terrain_texture.json. When importing manually, select the resource pack's root folder or its parent folder.
Ore is not visible: Ore generates underground, and the preview automatically moves the view below ground. You can also adjust the placement height under 生成参数 (Generation Parameters).
