See the SQL file you're editing as a live ER diagram, right beside the editor.
Follows your editor. Open a .sql file with CREATE TABLE statements and the diagram opens beside it. Switch to another SQL file and the diagram switches with you. Close the file and the diagram closes too.
Live. Every edit redraws the diagram. Put your cursor in a table to focus it and its relationships (until you do, the first table is shown); click a table or column to jump to its line.
MySQL and PostgreSQL. Works with VS Code's built-in sql language, the MySQL/PostgreSQL language extensions, and .sql / .psql / .pgsql files.
Share as a link. Click Share in the diagram, or run SQLestev: Copy Share Link. A link to the diagram is copied to your clipboard. Anyone who opens it can explore the diagram in the SQLestev web app, and signed-in users get a copy saved to their account. Sharing the same file again updates the same link.
No account needed. Layouts you arrange are remembered per file on your machine.

Open the diagram automatically for SQL files with tables. Closing the panel pauses this until you open it again with SQLestev: Open Diagram to the Side.
Share links
A share link holds a copy of the file's SQL and diagram layout as they were when you shared. Links stay active as long as they're used: every open or re-share extends a link by 90 days. A link that nobody opens or re-shares for 90 days is deleted.
