This plugin is manages MPLAB XC Compilers and makes them available when working with MPLAB projects.

💬 Supported commands

Using Command Palette (CMD/CTRL + Shift + P)

List detected toolchains

List all detected toolchains:

> MPLAB: List Toolchains

Specify a custom toolchain installation

The plugin will automatically look for toolchains in the standard installation paths. If you have installed a toolchain in a different location use the following command to make it available:

> MPLAB: Add Toolchain

Remove a custom toolchain installation

Custom toolchain installations that have been manually added are stored in the VS Code settings file. To remove these toolchains open the VS Code settings file (Preferences: Open User Settings (JSON)) and edit the setting named mplab-toolchains.customPaths

Reinitialize toolchains registration

If you have just installed a new toolchain or for some other reason want the plugin to re-detect and re-register the available toolchains, use the following command:

> MPLAB: Reinitialize toolchains registration
