Code Configurator for Microchip® devices/MCC extension:
Provides an intuitive graphical interface to configure peripherals and other settings for Microchip microcontrollers, eliminating the need to write code manually.
Generates the necessary initialization and driver code based on these configurations.
Includes a Pin Manager tool to help assign functions to specific pins on the microcontroller, ensuring there are no conflicts and that pin assignments are valid.
Supports integration with various software libraries provided by Microchip, such as the Foundation Services Library, which includes drivers and middleware for common tasks.
Offers core and library management through the MCC Content Manager, allowing you to install, switch, and manage different core versions and libraries, providing flexibility in project development.
Supports generating independent MCC configurations without MPLAB projects.
Example projects and templates are available to facilitate quick project startup.
🏃♀️ Getting started
Open an existing MPLAB project or create a new one using the command MPLAB: Create New Project.
Open the command palette (Ctrl + Shift + P) and search for the MPLAB MCC: Launch command.
Select Create New MCC Config and choose your project.
Select Proceed With Default Values.
Once the project is opened, the MCC tab will be displayed.
Code Configurator for Microchip® devices (MCC) requires MPLAB Services extension.We recommend installing the MPLAB Extension Pack for Visual Studio Code to quickly set up your environment.
The Code Configurator and the MPLAB® Extensions for Visual Studio Code share the same license.The MPLAB® Extensions for Visual Studio Code are distributed under a non-exclusive software license agreement provided by Microchip Technology Inc.
