Installation

From the VS Code Marketplace

Open Visual Studio Code.

Press Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on macOS) and type:

ext install MauricioAbreu.voxlang-tools

Open any .vox file and start coding with full syntax highlighting!

Manual Installation (.vsix)

If you built or downloaded the .vsix package manually:

code --install-extension voxlang-tools-1.0.0.vsix

Language Configuration

This extension associates files with the .vox extension to the Vox language definition. You can also configure file associations manually in your settings.json:

Requirements & Toolchain

To execute and compile Vox source files natively:

Vox CLI: github.com/mabreu2022/linguagemvox
Node.js: >= 18.0.0
C99 Compiler (optional for native binary output): TinyCC (bundled), GCC, Clang, or MSVC.
