Automatically opens Google Workspace files in your browser when you click on them in VS Code / Cursor.

How it works

Google Drive for Desktop syncs Google Workspace files as small JSON stubs containing a doc_id. This extension reads that ID, builds the correct Google URL, and opens it in your default browser.

The editor tab is automatically closed after opening since the JSON stub isn't useful to view.
