Token Wise

Token Wise is a VS Code extension that connects to an AI backend to help compress and optimize your prompts before you send them to AI agents like Cursor or ChatGPT. It reduces token usage and improves your AI responses!

Features

• Select text, right-click, and choose "Token Wise: Optimize Prompt" to replace messy thoughts with structured, token-efficient instructions.
• Select text and choose "Token Wise: Optimize Prompt (Copy to Clipboard)" to get the optimized prompt without replacing the original.

Setup

By default, the extension uses a shared public backend. You can also define your own free Groq API key in the extension settings to bypass any rate limits.
