About the extension

The TestMu AI VS Code extension lets you perform real-time cross browser testing of your websites and apps across 3000+ browsers, operating systems, and device combinations right from VS Code.

What you can do

• Real-time cross browser testing: enter a URL, choose Desktop or Mobile, pick the browser, browser version, operating system and resolution, and click START. Your test opens on a cloud machine running real browsers and operating systems.
• Test locally hosted websites: Test locally hosted websites and HTTPS builds with TestMu AI Underpass Tunnel. With the TestMu AI VS Code extension, you can launch a secure SSH tunnel in seconds through a guided interface, route test traffic safely through firewalls and proxies using an encrypted connection, and monitor tunnel status with real-time logs that flag connection issues instantly.

Get started

1. Click the TestMu AI icon in the Activity Bar and select Realtime Testing.
2. Enter your TestMu AI email and access key. You can find both on your TestMu AI profile page.
3. Enter the URL to test, choose your environment and click START.
