KCoder is an automated AI prompt engineer, to be used as a sidekick for Cody AI (by Sourcegraph). This extension provides a powerful tool to help you streamline your coding workflow with AI-powered assistance.
Features
KChat: Open a command palette input box where you can enter text. When you press enter, it will format your input and send it to a specified URL. The response is then displayed in a new editor window.
Real-time Statistics: View real-time statistics about your coding activity directly in the sidebar.

Session Information:
Total time spent in the current VSCode session.
File Usage Statistics:
Most visited file with time spent.
Top 5 most used files with time spent.
Code Statistics:
Total lines of code in the workspace.
Total number of files in the workspace.
Average time spent per file.
Top 5 most edited files with lines added and deleted.
(Statistics are for personal use only. They are not saved between sessions nor transferred outside of your local environment.)
How to Use
Install the Extension: Search for "KCoder" in the VSCode marketplace and install it.
Activate the Extension: The extension activates automatically when you open VSCode.
Use KChat:
Open the side panel or right click in an editor window
Click KCoder: AI Prompt Engineer and press enter.
Enter your prompt in the input box and press enter.
The formatted input is sent for processing, and the response is displayed in a new editor window.
The file is automatically referenced in a new Cody AI Chat panel.
View Real-time Statistics:
Open the KCoder sidebar to view real-time statistics about your coding activity.
Click on any file name in the statistics to open that file in the editor.
