TypeScript Factory

Generate TypeScript items (classes, React components) quickly.

Instructions

  1. Open the context menu on a folder.
  2. Find the item "TypeScript Factory".
  3. There you can create a class or a React component with or without folder.

React-Component Definitions

You can define different types of React components with different imports, decorators and css modules or not in the settings.

type ReactComponentDefinition = {
  name: string;
  importLines: string[];
  decoratorLines: string[];
  cssModule: boolean;
};

{
  "typescript-factory.react-components": ReactComponentDefinition[]
}

For example

{
  "typescript-factory.react-components": [
    {
      name: "Observer",
      importLines: [
        "import { observer } from \"mobx-react\";"
        "import * as React from \"react\";"
      ],
      decoratorLines: [
        "@observer"
      ],
      cssModule: true
    }
  ]
}

will generate the React component file:

import StyleSheet from "./MyComponent.module.css";
import { observer } from "mobx-react";
import * as React from "react";"

@observer
export class MyComponent extends React.Component {
  render() {
    return <div></div>;
  }
}
