Karvulas Crimson Theme
A crimson-inspired theme extension for Visual Studio Code with dedicated language palettes.
Available themes:
- Karvulas Crimson Dark: Near-black surfaces, deep crimson sidebars, and restrained wine-red accents
- Karvulas Crimson Light: Soft gray surfaces, dark crimson accents, and syntax colors tuned for a light editor

Language Support
Karvulas Crimson Theme uses dedicated syntax palettes for individual languages instead of applying one shared palette to every language.
Both variants support the languages below with separate colors tuned to their respective backgrounds.
These language palettes apply to source editors. Both variants also style headings and fenced code in the rendered Markdown Preview.
- Avalonia XAML (AXAML): Crimson tags, antique-gold attributes, amethyst namespaces, sapphire entities, and neutral values
- XML: AXAML-coordinated palette for tags, attributes, namespaces, entities, declarations, comments, and CDATA, including XML-based
.csproj, .props, and .targets files
- C#: Dedicated semantic palette with crimson keywords, gold types, amethyst methods, sapphire parameters, and focused accents
- JSON / JSONC: Gold keys, neutral strings, amber numbers, crimson constants, and sapphire escapes
- Markdown: Dedicated palette for headings, emphasis, inline code, links, lists, block quotes, tables, escapes, and fenced code blocks
- Other languages: Use the base theme colors until dedicated palettes are introduced
Installation
- Open the Extensions view in Visual Studio Code.
- Search for Karvulas Crimson Theme.
- Select Install.
- Open Preferences: Color Theme and choose Karvulas Crimson Dark or Karvulas Crimson Light.
