🛠️ Commands
Use the Command Palette (⇧⌘P / Ctrl+Shift+P):
Jots: Set Token – Save your personal Jots token
Jots: Browse Reflection Prompts – Browse available reflection prompts
🧭 How it works
- Set your personal token using
Jots: Set Token
- Browse prompts via:
- the Command Palette
- the status bar (“Prompt”)
- or the Jots sidebar
- Click “Open in Jots” to continue your reflection in the Jots app
- Once per day, receive a Prompt of the Day reminder with a random prompt to think about
⏰ Reflection of the Day
Jots can remind you once per day with a random reflection prompt.
At the configured time, you’ll see:
- the Reflection of the Day
- quick actions to:
- open it in Jots
- browse more prompts
- dismiss the reminder

🔐 Authentication
To access prompts, you need a personal Jots token.
- Generate a token from your Jots app
- Run
Jots: Set Token in VS Code
- Your token is stored securely using VS Code’s secret storage
