Rich Collection of Snippets: We've curated a comprehensive set of Markdown snippets that cover a wide range of formatting options and common use cases. From headers and lists to tables and code blocks, you'll find snippets that make styling your content a breeze.

Intuitive Tab Triggers: Each snippet is associated with a tab trigger that corresponds to its functionality. Simply start typing the trigger keyword and select the appropriate snippet from the IntelliSense suggestions.

Installation

Launch Visual Studio Code.
Go to the Extensions view by clicking on the square icon in the sidebar on the left or pressing Ctrl + Shift + X.
Search for "Markdown Snippets" and click Install.
Once the installation is complete, you're ready to start using the snippets!

Usage

Open a Markdown document in Visual Studio Code.
Start typing one of the snippet triggers (e.g., h1, ul, code).
Select the desired snippet from the IntelliSense suggestions or press Enter to insert the snippet.
Snippet trigger commands are as follows:

h1 Create Heading 1
h2 Create Heading 2
h3 Create Heading 3
h4 Create Heading 4
h5 Create Heading 5
h6 Create Heading 6
bold, b Write bold text
italic, i Write italic text
blockquote Add a blockquote in Markdown.

list, ul Start an unordered list
code Add code section
code-block Add code block section
hr, horizontal-rule Add a horizontal rule/line
a, link Add a link
img, image Add an image
table Creates a single column table
dl, definition list, list Create a definition list
strikethrough Write text with strikethrough effect.
checkbox, checked Creates a checked check box
checkbox, unchecked Creates a unchecked check box
Emoji Adds an emoji
